The upcoming Republican debate in Salt Lake City has been cancelled after Trump stated he would not be attending. Instead, he will be speaking at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee Conference (AIPAC) in Washington, D.C., on Monday. In an interview with Fox & Friends, Trump claimed that “we’ve had enough of them”. After Trump’s announcement, Kasich released a statement that he also refused to attend. The debate would have been the last before the Republican Convention in July.
Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden will also be speaking at the AIPAC Policy Conference early next week. The Zionist organization has a mission to “strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel,” and “urges all members of Congress to support Israel through foreign aid, government partnerships, joint anti-terrorism efforts.” Clinton, Biden and Trump are apparently comfortable knowing that foreign aid is supplying the terrorist occupation of Palestine.
According to Amnesty International, “the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory (the West Bank including East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip) is in its fifth decade and the undercurrent of violence and inherent abuses of fundamental human rights and disregard for international law inherent in any long-standing military occupation is presented. Palestinian civilians continue to bear the brunt of the violence in the region.”
Peace agreements have been offered repeatedly yet never reached, the Palestinian people have been slaughtered and displaced for decades. This violence is being openly supported by two major nomination candidates for America’s presidency. This political race is becoming a contest for the greatest supporter of apartheid.
