Missy Elliot Becomes the New Face of Marc Jacobs

The iconic rapper is the newest muse for the infamous designer.

Missy Elliot, one of the world’s most loved and iconic rappers, is the newest muse for the Fall 2016 Marc Jacobs campaign.

In the past the infamous designer has featured Cher, Bette Midler, and Pat Cleveland in his campaigns and this time it is the infamous rapper Missy Elliott.

Elliott’s campaign was announced on the official Instagram page of Marc Jacobs with the caption, “In a continuing series of portraits for our Fall 2016 ad campaign, the individuals in these photographs represent a collective embodiment of love, honesty, integrity, courage, strength, curiosity and inspiration. Together, as one story, this collection is a reminder to question and challenge normal and to continue exploring and pushing boundaries.”

Elliot is will be featured in more advertisements in the coming months.
