After #OscarssoWhite last year it was good to see the Hollywood Foreign Press didn’t make the same mistake with their Golden Globe nominations this year.
From fresh faces like Issa Rae in Insecure and Donald Glover in Atlanta, to veterans like Denzel Washington and Viola Davis in Fences the nominations showcase a range of exciting talent and unforgettable projects.
The most exciting news has to be the six nominations for indie darling Moonlight including best drama, best original screenplay and a well-deserved best supporting actor nod for Mahershala Ali.
Also to note, Danny Glover is nominated for Best Actor in a Television Series along with Black-ish actors Tracee Ellis Ross (Best Performance) & Anthony Anderson (Best Actor).
Other nominees include: Thandie Newton, Courtney B. Vance, Octavia Spencer, Kerry Washington
