CHECK OUT WHAT’S HAPPENING AT BLACK TECH WEEK MIAMI:
Let’s talk about Black Tech Week:
Black Tech Week was established in 2014 by Code Fever to add more impact to tech aspects of Black History Month. It serves as an avenue to recognize innovation among a diverse community. Its aim is to show diversity within the tech community and establish connections among tech entrepreneurs, developers, makers and investors.
This year’s event founded by the trio of Felicia Hatcher, Derick and Ori Pearson so far appears to be the best yet, with an interesting line up of speakers, including Trick Daddy (Rapper), Jeff Hoffman (Co-Founder of Priceline), Dr. Randal Pinkett, Leslie Miley (Twitter), Justin Washington (Snapchat) and many more. The speakers along with several events such as the Cocktail Discussion on Technology in Hip Hop Music, and Woman’s Innovation Brunch, are shaping up to be an exciting invitation for techies all over Florida and those that will come from all over the world. You can find out more information on this event at http://blacktechweek.com/.
