This past Saturday the Container Store held its grand opening in its newest location at the Avalon shopping center in Alpharetta, Ga. Customers lined up outside the store eagerly waiting to get their hands on the latest in tupperware and closet organizers.

A huge portion of the sales from the grand opening, tallying up a total contribution of $18,000, was donated to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The grand opening marked the 79th location for the company.

Vice President, Eva Gordon, says The Container Store has supported Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for years stating:

“We know that our customers and employees are passionate about their organization and their history of caring for Georgia’s children for more than 100 years.”
